Friendly but professional staff. Clean and modern. Reasonable bar prices. Great food
The walk in shower was great but you couldn't stop it flooding the bathroom. Also a PHD was needed to get the tap on the sink to the correct temperature ,both unnecessary and trying too hard to be modern. Just put a normal tap there !!!

The value for money at Cairn Lodge was excellent, and the room was beautifully decorated with comfortable beds and powerful showers. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the hotel was well-maintained.
Breakfast items could have been more varied.

The first thing to record is that Laura and her staff couldn't have been more helpful, courteous and efficient. The hotel has had a multi-million pound refurb and it shows. It is modernly stunning but tasteful with it. The breakfasts were superb as was the food in the Grill Room restaurant, borne out by how busy it is. The bedrooms/en-suites are beautiful and well equipped with a chic coffee machine in addition to the usual in- room tea/coffee facilities. The hotel is simply superb.
Just a couple of observations. The Deluxe bedroom would benefit from another chair and a full length mirror

This boutique hotel is right up our street for style. The staff are very friendly and extremely attentive! As my husband and i only stayed one night to attend a function at Gleneagles, we have no idea what the evening meal cuisine is like. We did however have breakfast which was lovely. I guess evening dining would be pretty fantastic as we received a phone call from the hotel well in advance of our stay, advising we book dinner if required as the restaurant is usually extremely busy. The dining room is very comfortable and stylish for a lovely evening out as is the 24 hour bar for residents. If only the weather had been nice, we would have enjoyed sitting out in the stylish garden. We would definitely stay here again and will recommend it to our friends.

The staff were welcoming and friendly. The hotel was beautifully decorated throughout. Very wide choice for breakfast. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. Outside terrace was lovely.
Only one complaint. No mirror in the bedroom. Had to heat hair tongs in the bedroom and unplug to use in the bathroom. How could you dry hair without a mirror? Had to put makeup on in the bathroom and the mirror was behind the washhand basin which was so wide I had to squeeze in at an angle to see. Obviously a room designed by a man!!! Mirrors, including full length, needed in all bedrooms

No hot water on night of stay so shower was cold.... They took price of main course off our bill which I though was less than satisfactory for the inability to provide a basic facility

I recently stayed at the lovely Cairn Lodge for a few nights and had a fantastic experience. The room was beautifully decorated and spacious, with a delightful bay window seating area. The modern bathroom with a separate shower was superb. The staff were friendly, attentive, and never intrusive. The Christmas Menu dinner was delicious, with something for everyone in our large group. Breakfast in the conservatory was equally amazing. I was also impressed by the wonderful welcome from Eileen and the team's attentiveness. Highly recommended!
Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The hotel was beautifully decorated and had a welcoming atmosphere. The staff were friendly and helpful, providing efficient service. The menu offered a wide range of options at reasonable prices, and there was a good selection of wines available.
The food quality was inconsistent. While some dishes were excellent, others were overcooked and dry.

During my recent stay at the Cairn Lodge, I was delighted by the level of service and attention to detail. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my needs were met, even preparing breakfast for me earlier than the designated time. The room was modern, clean, and stylish, providing a comfortable and luxurious experience. Aaron, who assisted me throughout my stay, was exceptionally helpful and friendly, recommending a fantastic Scotch that I thoroughly enjoyed. I highly recommend this hotel for its outstanding service, great food, and comfortable accommodations.
